Here is a tip for safely writing lengthy text directly into web text editors, such us when writing blogs and articles for this website or when applying for jobs on-line etc. If you follow this tip, you will never loose your precious text before it is saved or sent - even if you loose your Internet connection just at the wrong time.
Having spent ages carefully composed your on-line text, just before pressing the Send or Save button, highlight all you text and Copy it to your clipboard (hold down Ctrl and press C). If for any reason you encounter a problem such as a temporary loss of Internet connection and your writing fails to get sent or saved, you can immediately get the text back again by Pasting it back from the clipboard. (hold down Ctrl and press V) which saves you writing it all out again. This could be a life saver!
If you still can't Save or Send your text, you can always Past the text into an email and send it later or Past it into a Word document and save it for another time.
