Membership of Greenford Baptist Church
GBC has over 180 people in formal membership. Membership shows that this is the member's current spiritual home. It enables the member to attend bi-monthly members' meetings where we seek God together about the future direction of the church, appointments to the staff or leadership and share church family news. Members make some public commitments to the church when they join, you can see these on our website here. Membership is open to all who are committed Christians but usually a member will have been baptized as a believer, either here or elsewhere, before becoming a member. If you would like to talk about becoming a member please speak to Pastor David or one of the other members of the Leadership Team or staff.Gift Aid
If you pay income tax you can fill in a gift aid form which enables GBC to receive from the government 28p for every £1 you give to the church. Forms are available from the stewards every Sunday.Prayer for Ealing Baptist Churches
Haven Green ask to pray for their discipleship theme this term, and their Lent focus on Bible reading that this will make an impact on their spiritual growth. Acton is arranging for an outreach team from Operation Mobilisation to stay with them over the Easter period. This will fit in with a number of projects they are planning for Easter. Please pray that all the organisation goes ahead. South Hanwell asks us to pray for a party they are hosting for parents and children from their mid-week clubs on Saturday, 6th March. They particularly want the parents to come, to bless them and build good relationships with them.
