Wedding bells are in the air!

It's only one day now before I become a married man. It has been a very busy time preparing for the wedding to my sweetheart Heike on 30 May! No doubt it will be worth it all on the big day itself. People have started arriving from all around the world and it has been a blessing a pleasure to have all our friends, family and loved ones with us at this time.

Quite a lot goes into preparing for the big day but also for life after that day has come and gone. I have been making room in my house for a new person under my roof! Clearing out old things, emptying cupboards, changing the look of certain rooms to accommodate my wife to be. It has been quite an eye opener and given me insight into our relationship with God. Jesus is our bridegroom King and has gone ahead of us to prepare a place especially for us, and he has been in preparation for our wedding day to him for a long time now! I wonder what he has for us! Paul said no ear has heard or eye has seen what God has prepared for those who love him.

Now I can understand that at a deeper level what must be in his heart as he prepares for his bride (the Church).

We are looking forward to seeing Pastor David Wise, Rachel Thomas and Denzil Jarvis at the wedding coming from Greenford.

We wanted to say thank you for the love gift that David has brought with him from the Church. We appreciate your generosity and love towards us. THANK YOU!

We will be going to the Greek Islands for our honeymoon (not far away) and when we get back will be sending out a newsletter to you all and a video update. Of course we will also send on some pics from the wedding itself!

When we get back we will be getting straight back into things with Ywam here and the establishing of the House of Prayer for all nations here in Larnaca. Helge & Solveig Brudeli and their two lovely daughters will also be back here and taking their role once again on our local leadership team.

We are very excited about what God is going to do this year with us. There are sooo many opportunities for ministry opening up for us. Please continue to pray for us as we pray for you!

For myself and Heike as we start our married life together and for God to continue to lead guide and provide for us as we serve him here in Cyprus.
