Keeping Fit

In church we speak about spiritual fitness but we must also be conscious of our physically fitness. God gave us our bodies and we must look after them, so with this in mind we are trying to encourage people to do some exercise, so some of the members have started a walking group that meet every Wednesday 6.30pm at the Eastmead Avenue entrance of Ravenor Park and all are welcome to join. There is also the opportunity to join people in swimming at Gurnell Leisure centre most mornings at 7am. If you do a physical activity that you think others will enjoy, please see Rangena Tilkaran, and we shall help to encourage others to join you.

Prayer for Ealing Baptist Churches

Acton Baptist asked for prayer for the local community of Acton that they will experience God’s love through the various activities that the church are putting on during Autumn, and pray that the Alpha course that they are running at the end September will be well attended. South Hanwell ask for prayer for their large group of young people as they go to Soul Survivor in Somerset with their leaders. Haven Green praise God for the three baptisms they have had this year. They have asked for continued prayer for Pastor Carl Hodges’ health. North Hanwell ask for prayer for the mid-week older children / youth activities they are doing throughout the summer holidays. Please pray their Sunday Club teachers and Parent / Toddler leaders will enjoy rest & refreshment during the holiday period.

Kitchen Gas Supply

We are happy to report that the gas and hot water supply has now been fully restored in the kitchen. We are sorry for the inconvenience but two separate faults developed one needing gas engineers, the other electricians!
