For many years now on Christmas Day we have hosted local elderly people who would otherwise be on their own. We collect them from their homes; bring them to the church building for a full Christmas dinner with all the trimmings. We provide entertainment all afternoon and then transport them back home each with a goodie bag.
For this event to happen we need a lot of volunteers to help both in advance and especially on the day. We need drivers, drivers’ assistants, hosts for the tables, waiters and waitresses, entertainers etc, etc. We are already beginning to recruit our team for this year.
If you would like to volunteer or need more information please speak to Pastor David who co-ordinates the meal.
