Meetings Week Commencing Sunday 6th September

• Sunday 6th September at 10.00am. The meeting will be led by Warren McNeil. Steve Williams will be speaking.
• Sunday 6th at 1.00pm. Gospel Choir practice.

• Sunday 6th 6.30pm. Informal communion led by Warren McNeil.
• Tuesday 8th from 7.00 to 7.45am. An opportunity to meet at the church building for prayer.
• Wednesday 9th at 8.00pm. Whole church prayer meeting at the church building. The focus will be praying into the ‘new season’.
• Thursday 10th from 7.00 to 7.45am. An opportunity to meet at the church building for prayer.
• Thursday 10th from 7.45 to 9.45pm. Launch of ‘The Money Secret’ course at the church building.
• Friday 11th from 7.00 to 9.15pm. Undefined, our weekly youth event at the church building.
• Saturday 12th from 7.00 to 10.00pm. International evening. An evening of food from around the world and entertainment from many cultures.
• Sunday 13th at 10.00am. The meeting will be led by Warren McNeil. Pastor David will be speaking.
• Sunday 13th. There will be no meeting in the evening.

Personal Finance Course – The Money Secret

This is a six-week personal finance course starting Thursday 10th September at 7.45pm. It is designed to help us regain control of our finances. Presentations will be led by Barrington Hall. Cost: £20 This includes a course workbook and other materials. More details: gbc.org.uk/events.

International Evening 12 September 2009 7pm at GBC

All are invited to join us for this year’s International Evening. Come and enjoy food from around the world and entertainment from the many cultures represented in the Church. The food and entertainment will be very good, so bring your friends! Advance tickets are available priced £5 for adults, £2.50 for under 12’s. Please buy in advance if you are able so that we can estimate the food correctly, you can pay on the door but it will cost you more. More details: gbc.org.uk/events

Church Fence

Starting Saturday 12th September and on subsequent Saturdays we will be starting to replace the fence in front of the church. This will involve digging out foundations and laying sleepers. Would any fit people who can help please give their name to Andy Crame or Frank Cadman. Please do not leave this to one or two people, the more we have the easier it will be and the faster things will get done.
