Meetings Week Commencing Sunday 1st November 2009

• Sunday 1st November at 10.00am. The worship will be led by the Leadership Training group and will include the dedication of Nia Maru. Bayode Adisa will be speaking.
• Sunday 1st at 6.30pm. Informal communion lead by Warren McNeil.

• Tuesday 3rd from 8.00 to 8.45am. An opportunity to meet in the home of Dorothy and Ralph Williams for prayer.
• Wednesday 4th at 8.00pm. Prayer meeting for the community led by the Evangelism team at the church building. Everyone is welcome.
• Thursday 5th from 8.00 to 8.45am. An opportunity to meet in the home of Dorothy and Ralph Williams for prayer.
• Friday 6th from 7.00 to 9.15pm. Undefined, our weekly youth discipleship event at the church building.
• Sunday 8th November at 10.00am. The meeting will be led by David Wise and will include joining in the national act of Remembrance for those who have died or been injured in war. Rotimi Awoniyi will be speaking.
• Sunday 8th. No evening meeting this week.

Safety of Children at GBC

We have had some concerns raised with us about young children left playing unsupervised outside the church building near the road during connection time. Please stay with your children if they are outside. We will be closing the rear entrance/exit onto Beechwood Avenue at the start of connection time and opening the door on the opposite side of the hall that allows children out into a fenced in area with no access to the road. If you wish to leave the building during connection time please use the exit through the foyer as this is child safe.

Prayer for Ealing Baptist Churches

Acton Baptist asks for prayer for their deacon’s elections; please pray that their deacons and church will take time to wait on God to hear His guidance on who should be their leaders for the next three years. Pray for Neil and Laura as they lead the day time Alpha group and for those on the course. Pray for Mick as he spends time away praying and fasting concerning God's direction for the church in the year ahead. South Hanwell asks for prayer for the Lord's guidance regarding their Christmas season in terms of outreach, worship and social events. Haven Green asks for prayer for their Thanksgiving Day this month and that each person will be encouraged to see and use their gifts for the building of God’s kingdom. Pray also for wisdom, safety and God’s provision for their ongoing buildings work.
