Money collection volunteers 5th December 2009
As a church we have an opportunity to raise money for our Christmas Day meal and Help the Aged. On the 5th December we have permission to stand at the B & Q shop in Yeading and collect money for Help the Aged. We then will receive back 90% of the takings which will be used to help fund our Christmas Day meal. We need volunteers who are willing to spend a few hours on Saturday 5th helping us. Please contact Warren either via 020 8575 5034 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .Christmas Day Driving and Volunteers
Christmas Day can be a very lonely time for elderly people but at GBC provide a meal and entertainment in the church building on Christmas day as a service to our community. Currently we are in urgent need of additional minibus drivers to collect and return people to their homes and volunteers to help all day on the day. If you are willing to be part of serving others please contact Warren McNeil either via This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You will have noticed the national flags that we have on display at the church building. These flags represent the nationalities of people who are a part of our Sunday congregation. If you attend and cannot see your own country's flag displayed then please consider sponsoring your flag. Flags cost around £10. Please approach Warren and tell him your nationality. He will arrange the purchase and display of the flag.Prayer request for Ealing Baptist Churches
Acton Baptist ask for prayer for the vision for the coming year and that people will respond to it and also for their outreach programme for Christmas that they will see response from their local community. South Hanwell ask us to pray for them as they take the Christmas message out to their community and also pray that people within their congregation would experience the peace of Christ this Christmas. Haven Green asks us to pray for their Christmas outreach opportunities - carols, teas, talks, friendships.
