Meetings Week Commencing Sunday 2nd May 2010

  • Tuesday 4th from 7.00 to 7.45am. An opportunity to meet in the home of Dorothy and Ralph Williams for prayer.

  • Thursday 6th from 8.00 to 8.45am. An opportunity to meet in the home of Dorothy and Ralph Williams for prayer.
  • Saturday 8th at 7.00 to 9.00pm. Women Alive in Ministry meets in the ASK? room in the church building.
  • Sunday 9th at 10.00am. The meeting will be led by Pastor David Wise. Rotimi Awoniyi will be speaking.
  • Sunday 9th. There will be no evening meeting this week.

WEC annual missions’ event in the lovely surroundings of Bulstrode, Oxford Road, Gerrards Cross SL9 8SZ. Activities for all ages come, learn, be challenged, relax and enjoy a great day out. Talks, seminars, global village of 20+ missions, kids programme, youth zone, child care facilities, refreshments, books stalls, walk, explore & picnic in the grounds etc. Come for all or any part of the day. Special Members’ Meeting

There will be a special members’ meeting on Sunday May 16th at 1.15pm. There will be three items on the agenda; consideration of the appointment of Warren McNeil as full time Assistant Pastor at GBC, consideration of the appointment of Denise De Oliveira as part time Assistant Pastor at GBC for a fixed one year period, and consideration of an application to the UK Border’s Agency for GBC to become a Sponsoring Body. All members should make it a priority to attend this meeting.

Prayer for Ealing Baptist Churches

London Network ask for prayer for reformation of cell groups, the transition of older youth to student cell groups and for the outreach through parent and toddlers to be fruitful. Haven Green thank God for their Easter events and the recent Open All Hours planning evening, which was very encouraging and ask for prayer for the vision and plans for the Monday evenings and for their weekend away in early May. South Hanwell ask or prayer that re:NEW, their "away day" on 16th May, will be a time not just of great fellowship but also when they hear from God both for their church and for themselves.
